Since Gente de Zona made their joyous London debut at a packed Troxy last year the group has gone from strength to strength with the singles Si no Vuelves and their collaboration with Jennifer Lopez with one of the biggest hits of last summer on Ni Tu, Ni Yo. Combining reggaeton with Cuban son and other music of the Caribbean, Gente de Zona have created their own floor-filling rhythm – Cubaton.

Gente de Zona’s energetic and irresistible sound first became known in Cuba, where the group formed in Havana in 2000. After a change in personnel, GDZ settled as a core duo with founder Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcolm and began to storm the Latin charts.

As featured performers on Enrique Iglesias’ 2014 song of the year Bailando, GDZ’s appeal was clear from the track’s catchy rhythm as well as from the video, which has had almost two billion views on YouTube. Bailando was the longest running number one ever on the Billboard chart.

After collaborations with Pitbull and Juan Magan, in 2015 Gente de Zona sealed their chart success with La Gozaderaand Traidora, both in collaboration with Marc Anthony. In April 2016 the group released their third album Visualízateincluding the hit single Más Macarena in collaboration with Los Del Río.
