This is the perfect Intensive Workshop for Latin dance lovers with busy schedules. If you are always busy in the week, this Saturday intensive course is perfect for you to try out Bachata and build a solid repertoir of Beginner moves and steps.
Bachata is a style of music and dace that originated in the Dominican Republic and this is now one of the most popular and fastest growing Latin dance styles today. Bachata is considered to be a more sensual and a slower dance style as compared with Salsa and contans a lot of hip movements, fluid styling, intricate footwork and close partnerwork patterns.
In this intensive workshop we will build up your repertoire of Bachata steps and partnerwork moves, body movement and sensual styling; taking you from absolute beginner to the next level up with confidence.
The special intensive format of this course allows you to learn the contents of our standard 4-weeks long Beginners course in just one day. This course is also a perfect segway into our standard 4-week dance course format for the su+bsequent levels. After completing the 1Day Intensive Bachata Course you would be eligible to join the Bachata Improvers level (per our current timetable).
No need to come with a partner as we rotate partners during the class, which also helps you experience the social nature of Latin dancing, meet people and make new friends.
1-Day Intensive Course Format
10.45am – Doors open.
11am - Course starts at 11am prompt!
1pm to 1.30pm - 30mins break.
3.30 to 4pm – Social Dancing & Practice. Music will be played and perfect for a little Q&A.
