Back in the day, I used to DJ regularly at Stratford East Bar (the former Theatre Royal Bar) for many years on the Funky Friday nights.

This event will be a throwback to a time long before Stratford East Bar hosted regular salsa nights at the venue.

I have been invited back to rekindle some of the old ‘Funky Friday’ nights by playing some great FUNK AND SOUL, with some reggae, jazz funk, rare grooves and more on SATURDAY 26^TH APRIL 2025 from 9pm-12 midnight. 

Entry is FREE all night, and please note that this is NOT a salsa or Latin Music night.

For a flavour of the Old Skool, if you have nothing else to do, and you want to ‘fling yuh foot dem’, then come on down.
