Andrew is a world-class championship Ballroom and Latin American dancer. He started competing in South Africa at the age of 12, going on to represent both England and Finland in championships around the world before retiring from competition when he was 31.

During his competitive career, Andrew achieved both 4th place in the Amateur UK competitive rankings and 24th place in the Professional World Latin American competition rankings.  He also starred as a professional dancer on BBC’s “Strictly Come Dancing” in 2005 with professional partner Hanna Haarala.

Since retiring from competition in 2008, Andrew has expanded his career performing, teaching, judging and choreographing around the world. Following his appearance on “Strictly Come Dancing”, Andrew and his professional partner Hanna Haarala performed and taught on cruise ships globally as well as joining Brendan Cole’s Live & Unjudged UK theatre tour in 2008, a role they reprised for four consecutive years.

In addition to his TV, stage and film credits, in recent years Andrew has expanded his repertoire of choreographing and producing stage shows to Yoga instruction, meditation and holistic wellbeing.
