Welcome to Hopfrogs Dance School’s website

Dancing is our passion and a huge part of our lives.  We relish the joys and frustrations of helping people learn to dance and really love the immense sense of satisfaction watching confidence and skills grow over time…..and then the fun begins!

What we offer

Regular weekly dance classes in Ilkeston, Cotmanhay and Shirland, near Alfreton covering basic beginners classes followed by a more advanced class in Modern Sequence, Ballroom, Latin American and Rock n Roll.

Short courses, half day and full day workshops for Argentine Tango.

Weekly afternoon tea dance including easy Modern Sequence, Ballroom Latin and Social dances 2-4pm Thursdays.

Half and full day workshops focusing on specific dance styles - i.e.. Ballroom and Latin

Monthly Sequence Social Dance 

Private dance lessons at a time and place mutually convenient to both parties

First Dance choreography for weddings and special events

1950’s style Rock n Roll events – i.e. school proms

Vintage 1950’s (and earlier) memorabilia  - specialising in handbags and jewellery

Social life - we're always out somewhere doing something - everyone's welcome to come along!
