A multi-function entertainment and community facility in the heart of Thornbury

The complex is compromised of 5 public rooms and backstage facilities of various sizes ranging from a capacity of 320 for a theatrical production, to a dozen or so for a committee meeting. The various facilities can be hired for musical events, dancing, shows, exhibitions, conferences, meetings etc. It is licensed for public music and dancing, has a licensed bar and catering facilities for meals and hot drinks.

Chapel Street is on the right hand side of Thornbury High Street 100m past the mini roundabout at the Midland Way junction.

Free off-street parking is in St Mary Street or Rock Street car parks, but 2 hrs limits apply during weekday working hours.

The complex is run by a charitable trust set up in 1972 by local businessman Frank Armstrong, the Cossham Hall was presented to the town in 1888 by Handel Cossham a local mine owner and public benefactor.
