If you are a seasoned dancer then you have already discovered that you can make a few friends, polish off a life skill and keep fit whilst having a smile of your face.

I urge you to introduce a friend.
It is a perfect time to do so, as they possibly may have enjoyed dancing on holidays and actually are thinking about it already. And if they start lessons or a course in this month, you'll have another dance partner when the holiday season hits again in December.

Remember to take in plenty of liquid and take plenty of breaks during this remarkable summer.

Friday night sees the regular bachata/salsa lesson combination followed by social in Putney

With one of the best dance floors around, Conway Hall in Holborn hosts a Pexava Saturday social.  Starting with a class On1 from Gil and Shelley there is dancing until 2am.

An evening of Argentine Tango dancing with Leo & Tracey at one of London's best ballrooms in Putney.

Away from the centre, Salsatricity this week are in Borehamwood with their salsa, bachata, kizomba mix of lessons and late party whilst Salsa D'Lite enjoy their party in Bourne End.

Sunday's i2i intensive salsa course at Bar Salsa, Soho, is named "Big Combos" and is aimed at intermediate level dancers and above.  Quote London Salsa for £5 off.

A free intro to salsa plus opportunity to dance al fresco can be found on Sunday in Spitalfields.

Richmond's live salsa band night starts and finishes early on Sunday but you can still fit in 4.5 hours of dance and remember to claim the London Salsa £2 discount.

Midweek salsa lessons and party nights flourish during the summer but you are advised to check with the teachers as August is holiday time for some. Here are a few we know are on.

Urban Bachata lessons are offered on Monday in Bar Salsa Temple with Cali Style slsa lessons at the same time, in a different room before the Festa Fiesta. 

Salsa and bachata are also taught in Wimbledon on Monday

The August 4-week absolute beginners course starts on Tuesday in Northfields with the Pexava team 

Cuban style and Cross Body (LA) are both taught on Tuesdays in Charlton.

London's top dancers can be found at Bar Salsa in Charing Cross each Wednesday as lessons are multiple level plus music from the very best guest Djs and fantastic dance showcases.

In Hammersmith on Wednesday absolute beginners get a free first time session whilst bachata and salsa lessons are followed by a social.

Grupo Niche is Colombia’s most emblematic salsa orchestra who have conquered the world for more than thirty-five years with their Cali-style salsa. They are live on Thursday near Limehouse.

Certainly the London Latinfest on 24-27th August is something special to anticipate and definitely worth booking in advance to take best advantage of the vast array of workshops and parties.
